"UGANDA... por supuesto!! Llegamos a Uganda con ilusión,
pero tambien con algo de incertidumbre. ¿En que situación
está el país? ¿Cómo sera la agencia
de viajes contratada? Transcurridos los 11 días de
viaje, ya no existen dudas, Uganda es un país seguro
y Great Lakes Safaris Ltd. una agencia seria y profesional.
Resultado: un gran viaje!
El plato fuerte de nuestro viaje han sido
los gorilas de Bwindi, una experiencia unica e inolvidable
que no debes perderte, pero las otras visitas tambien son
muy interesantes: Murchison Falls, Queen Elizabeth Park, Lake
Bunyonyi... bonito paisaj y fauna interesante y sobre todo
la amabilidad de la gente, sin olvidarnos de una gastronomia
saludable.
En cuanto a Great Lakes Safaris Ltd. nos
ha sorprendido gratamente. Se trata de una pequeña
agencia pero con un trato exquisito, muy profesional y a la
vez familiar. Personalizando un poco, nuestro guia, Beki,
es una gran persona... y eso vale mucho!! Amos, el director
y propietario, es un joven emprendedor, inteligente y receptivo
a todo aquella que sirva para mejorar el servicio de Great
Lakes Safaris y tambien el desarrollo del turismo en Uganda.
Jaynefer hace el trabajo de oficina, fue nuestro contacto
per e-mail. Joven, amable, comunicadora, resolverá
cualquier duda en la organización del viaje. Amy, esposa
de Amos, nos ayudo a comprender mejor la situación
de Uganda, desde su posición de mujer occidental.
Podriamos extendernos mucho, pero todo
es tan sencillo como decir que, Uganda no te decepcionara.
Para acabar comentar que, en Uganda hay miles de huérfanos.
Existen muchos proyectos en el pais, de diferentes organizaciones,
que intentan ayudar a estos niños y necesitan nuestra
colaboracion. No dudes en informarte antes de ir, y colabora
en lo que puedas, sera de gran ayuda.

"UGANDA... of course!! We arrived in
Uganda a bit doubtful, but nevertheless excited. What situation
would the country be in? What would the travel agency be like?
After an 11 days stay there were no doubts at all, Uganda
is a safe country and Great Lakes Safaris Ltd. is a competent,
professional company. The result: a great holiday!
The highlight of our stay was the gorillas
of Bwindi, an unforgettable, unique experience that should
not be missed. However, other visits were also extremely interesting:
Murchison Falls, Queen Elizabeth Park, Lake Bunyonyi... beautiful
scenery and fascinating wildlife and above all the kindness
and hospitality of the people without forgetting the healthy
gastronomy.
We were pleasantly surprised with Great
Lakes Safaris Ltd. A small agency providing an excellent,
professional service with a personal touch. More specifically,
our guide Beki is a terrific person... and this means a lot!
Amos, the manager and owner, is an intelligent, up and coming,
young businessman who is open to all suggestions for improving
the services of Great Lakes Safaris and promoting tourism
in Uganda. Jaynefer does the office work and was our contact
on the e-mail. She is young and friendly and solves any queries
regarding travel etc. Amos' wife, Amy, helped us to understand
more about the situation in Uganda from her position as an
eastern woman.
We could go on and on, but it is easier
to say - Uganda will not disappoint you. On a final note,
we should mention that there are thousands of orphans in Uganda
and many projects to help these children are being run by
different organisations in the country and need our collaboratoin.

"We came to Uganda in February 2004
and we are glad to say that it has been really exciting. Our
whole trip to Uganda was unforgettable. We cannot thank your

The standard of accommodation and meals provided were far
beyond our expectation and we found each of the camps you
selected for us unique, absolutely enjoyable with astonishing

There have been so many highlights and
among them we particularly enjoyed the leopard in the Murchison
Falls National Park, the sunset on top of Murchison Falls.
the lion families in Queen Elizabeth, the chimp alpha male
named Mobuto in Kibale, the gorillas on Mount Sabinyo, the
silver back charging Patrick, etc. The trip to the Virungas
in Rwanda was one of the best travel experiences we have had
so far. What a scenery!
We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of
our experience and want to thank you for the excellent job
you did in preparing everything for us. We really felt that
we were given V.I.P. treatment everywhere we went. Our guides
and the friendly people in Uganda in general were all delightful
and obviously very proud of their country. They were also
very knowledgeable, ensuring that we were comfortable and
well looked after. The aforementioned statements show that
we fully enjoyed the tour. Thanks to you all very much. Especially
