Dutch version
"Oeganda ontdekken met Great Lakes was een plezier. Prima busje, sfeer-volle accommodatie, een traject dat tot de verbeelding spreekt. Hoogtepunt waren uiteraard de berggorilla's maar ook de andere natuurparken zijn Beki and the tour leaderronduit schitterend.
Een absolute meerwaarde was Beki, onze chauffeur. Een ervaren professional. Kennis en humor te over en van zijn hilarische verhalen hebben we nog lang nagenoten."

English version
"Discovering Uganda with Great Lakes was a huge pleasure. A fine minivan, pleasant accommodation pleasant and a route that speaks to the imagination. The highlight was of course the mountain gorillas, but even the other national parks were in one word magnificent.
Our driver Beki was an added value to the safari. A very experienced professional with abundant knowledge and humour. We enjoyed his amusing stories even long after our return."

Apurva A Modi, India

"We had a great time in Uganda and Beki was an excellent guide. He knew lots of people and hence, could make last minute arrangements for whatever we wanted. We were really impressed with that. We will definitely recommend Great lakes to all our family and friends.
We saw lots of wildlife and of course Kibale and Bwindi were highlights of the trip. A visit to the orphanage at Bwindi wApurva A Modias humbling and the dances performed by the children were astounding. Queen Elizabeth National Park is a stunning park with lots to offer- especially the bat and python caves. Murchison's has its own beauty and the Nile cruise was fantastic.

To sum it all in the words of my wife and mine: This was the best trip we have ever had in our life" keeping in mind that we have done considerable amount of travelling in the past: Europe, New Zealand, Latin-America, Asia, and many parts in USA."

Adri van der Velden, Netherlands

"First of all I would like to mention the professional way and friendly manner in which our mails were answered - thus getting us a nice itinerary together in quite a short time. Really good as I stared booking quite late.

We have visited various countries in Africa and we were enchanted by the diversity of the scenery. Rivers, lakes and mountains and almost everywhere we went it all looked green and fertile. What surprised and deeply touched us all was the enormous enthusiasm with which all people we met shared their knowledge with us. And knowledgeable they all are!
How lucky we were with Martin, our guide, driver, organizer of whatever had to be organized. Martin had a solution for everything. His knowledge on any subject it being either his country, people, tribe or kingdom, game or his favourite topic: birds, whatever we asked, Martin always knew. We felt safe and secure with him.
We also like the way the local community benefits from tourism. Of course I booked rustic bush camps and most of the accommodations met our expectations although, spoiled as we are, we do prefer to have our own bathroom facilities. We all found the beds, wherever we slept, very good and comfortable.

We had a wonderful time and hope to be back one day to discover more about your beautiful country."

"It seems like our trip to Uganda was just yesterday. We have so many fond memories. We were very pleased with everything you did for us. Our trip was truly the trip of a lifetime!"

December 2005
Roland & Joke, Belgium

"We have seen everything and even more than we expected to see in all the national parks. We were lucky to see a leopard in Queen Elizabeth NP, lots of tree climbing lions in Ishasha and even lions in Murchison NP. Of course the gorilla trackings were the number one highlights, but also the boat trips and game drives in Murchison Falls NP and Queen Elizabeth NP and the beautiful scenery during the transfer in general (mountains, crater lakes, eRoland and Joke with Martintc…). Roland’s favourite spot was Bwindi, Joke’s all of Uganda!!!

We had chosen for a budget friendly arrangement, and still all accommodations met with our expectations. Some of the settings were really nice, like the tree house in Kibale, Buhoma Camp and Bunyonyi Overland Camp. Also we also advise a night at the Adrift Nile High Camp: great atmosphere with a stunning views on the Nile!

The planning, made in cooperation with the office, was very satisfying, offering a good mix of game drives, hiking and relaxation. Many thanks for the flexibility of giving us a second day at Lake Bunyonyi. A full day and two nights are advisable over there (lovely place + safe swimming possibilities).

Finally, we were very happy to have Martin as our guide. He taught us a lot about wildlife, nature, the country and its culture, and he did everything to make our trip as successful as possible, being there whenever he needed to be and still giving us enough privacy. We had many laughs, and Martin turned out to be a great companion, and we will still think a lot about him when we are back in Belgium."
