Day
1: ARRIVAL
Warm welcome at Entebbe International Airport
and transfer to your hotel at Entebbe. Overnight in Sophie's
Motel.
Day
2: KAMPALA
After breakfast we start the day with a
city tour through the bustling capital of Uganda. Immerse
yourself in the traditions of the Kings of the Buganda tribe
at the Kasubi Toms, visit the Namirembe Cathedral and explore
the African Craft Village for the most authentic crafts
and arts. Overnight at Kings Holiday Inn.
Day
3: TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
Early departure from Kampala to Murchison
Falls. With lunch en route we will arrive in the national
park in the afternoon and visit the magnificent waterfalls,
where the river Nile is being forced into a seven meter
crevice. Dinner and overnight in Red Chilli Rest Camp.
Day
4: MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK UGANDA SAFARIS
After an early breakfast we start the day
with a game drive on the northern bank of the Nile, with
chances of seeing giraffes, elephants, lions, hartebeest
and different species of birds. In the afternoon you will
go on board of the Madi Gras boat that will take you to
a hidden world with abundant wildlife, while drifting quietly
downstream. Late in the afternoon arrival at Bush Camp where
your tent will be pitched. As night falls you will enjoy
a delicious barbecue meal, with the sounds of Africa at
night. Overnight at Bush Camp.
Day
5: MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
Early in the morning you will go with a
ranger for a safari walk in the surrounding area. Return
to the boat and enjoy breakfast while we slowly return to
Paraa. The rest of the afternoon you have the opportunity
to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature. Dinner and overnight
at Red Chilli Rest Camp.
Day
6: TRANSFER TO KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK
We depart Murchison Falls and head towards
Fort Portal. This long journey will be rewarded with stunning
views as you pass small villages and local markets. From
Fort Portal we continue directly to the dense jungle of
Kibale Forest National Park. Dinner and overnight at Primate
Lodge Kibale.
Day
7: KIBALE FOREST & BIGODI SWAMP
Go in search of the wild chimpansee families,
the red-tailed monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys
and many other primates in Kibale Forest. After a traditional
lunch in Bigodi Village, we will visit the swamp, known
for its rich diversity of birds and primates. Dinner and
overnight at Primate Lodge Kibale.
Day
8: TRANSFER TO KAMPALA
In the morning you can enjoy the majestic
Rwenzori Mountains in its full glory, where you will have
a guided nature walk at the foothills and get a glimpse
of the village life. After lunch return to the capital city
where you will arrive late in the afternoon. Overnight at
Kings Holiday Inn.
Day
9: TRANSFER TO JINJA
After breakfast we leave the busy town and head towards
the east. Jinja is situated directly at Lake Victoria, where
the Nile finds its origin. En route we will make a stop
at Mabira Forest for a nice forest walk with the possibility
of seeing different types of primates, birds and colourful
butterflies. Dinner and overnight at Adrift Nile High Camp.
Day
10: JINJA
Ready for a full day of adventure? Then
start rafting at the source of the Nile. Enjoy the beautiful
scenery and thundering rapids of the White Nile. Don’t
forget to watch the incredible birdlife as you drift quietly
between the rapids of the river. Dinner and overnight at
Adrift Nile High Camp.
Day
11: DEPARTURE
Time to say goodbye to the Pearl of Africa!
Enjoy the beauty of the Nile one more time before we transfer
back to Entebbe. Drop off at the airport for your flight
back home.
