Day
1: ENTEBBE - NGAMBA ISLAND - KAMPALA
A visit to the island of
the chimpanzees! In the morning you will depart from Entebbe
for a close encounter with our relatives. After a pleasant
boat ride you will reach Ngamba Island, where you will be
directed to the visitors centre to learn more about the
chimps and their lifestyle. You will be able to view and
photograph these fascinating apes in their natural environment
from only a few metres away! In the afternoon you will take
a boat ride back to Entebbe and transfer to your hotel in
Kampala. Overnight
at Kings Holiday Inn.

Day
2: KAMPALA - FORT PORTAL
After breakfast we will depart Kampala and head west to
Fort Portal. Driving through the verdant countryside we
will pass traditional homesteads and farms. Fort Portal
rests in the shadow of the fabled Mountains of the Moon.
Dinner and overnight at the cottages of Primate Lodge Kibale.
For upgrade you can stay at the luxury tents of Primate
Lodge Kibale.
Day
3: KIBALE NATIONAL PARK
Early in the morning visit to Kibale Forest National Park,
reputable of having the greatest variety and highest concentration
of primates in East Africa. Enjoy a guided nature walk in
the tropical rainforest in search of the wild chimpanzees,
red-tailed monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys and
many others. After lunch we will go for the Bigodi Swamp
Walk, an initiative of the local community. The swamp is
known for its rich diversity of birds and primates. Dinner
and overnight at the cottages of Primate Lodge Kibale.

Day
4: KIBALE - QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
We transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park with a lunch
stop in Kasese. Upon entering the national park you will
enjoy a short game drive before checking in at the accommodation
in the middle of the park. Dinner and overnight at Simba
Safari Camp.

Day
5: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK UGANDA TOUR
The day begins early as we take on a morning game drive
and head for the mating ground of the Uganda Kobs. We search
for lions, elephants, buffaloes and other wild animals in
their natural habitat before returning for lunch.
In the afternoon we take on a boat cruise along the Kazinga
Channel, a natural channel between Lake Edward and Lake
George. Thanks to the abundant bird life that is sighted,
and the elephants, buffaloes and hundreds of hippos that
are cooling off at the shores, this cruise will definitely
be one of the highlights of your Uganda safaris. Dinner and overnight
at Simba Safari Camp.

Day
6: QUEEN ELIZABETH - LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast we go for a hike in the Kyambura Wildlife
Reserve. Driving through a grassland area, all of a sudden
we come across an amazing gorge of one hundred meters deep,
covered with tropical rainforest. You will hike into the
gorge of the Kyambura River in search of the wild chimpanzees.
It is a beautiful walk through the river valley, home to
many birds and butterfly species as well.
After this activity we drive to
Lake Mburo National Park with lunch enroute. As we enter
the park and head towards the accommodation it is likely
that you will see some wildlife, like impalas, topis, warthogs,
zebras and buffaloes. Dinner and overnight at Rwonyo Camp.

Day
7: LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK - KAMPALA
Early start of the day as we will go for a nature walk guided
by a ranger. Lake Mburo is the only national park where
you can experience a safari on foot. After breakfast we
transfer to Kampala with a stop at the equator for photos
or shopping. Arrival late in the afternoon in Kampala.
