Day
1: ARRIVAL
Warm welcome at Entebbe International Airport
and transfer to your hotel at Kampala. Overnight in Kings
Holiday Inn.
Day
2: TRANFER
TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
Early departure from Kampala to Murchison
Falls. With lunch en route we will arrive in the national
park in the afternoon and visit the magnificent waterfalls,
where the river Nile is being forced into a seven meter
crevice. Dinner and overnight at Red Chilli Rest Camp.
Day
3: MURCHISON
FALLS NATIONAL PARK
After an early breakfast we start the day
with a game drive on the northern bank of the Nile, with
chances of seeing giraffes, elephants, lions, hartebeest
and different species of birds. In the afternoon the safari
will be continued with a boat cruise on the river Nile for
game viewing at close quarters. Dinner and overnight at
Red Chilli Rest Camp.

4: TRANFER
TO KIBALE FOREST
We depart Murchison Falls and head towards
Fort Portal. This long journey will be rewarded with stunning
views as you pass small villages and local markets. Dinner
and overnight at Primate Lodge Kibale.
Day
5: KIBALE FOREST & BIGODI
SWAMP
Go in search of the wild chimpansee families,
the red-tailed monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys
and many other primates in Kibale Forest. After a traditional
lunch in Bigodi Village, we will visit the swamp, known
for its rich diversity of birds and primates. Dinner and
overnight at Primate Lodge Kibale.

6: TRANFER
TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
In the morning you can enjoy the majestic
Rwenzori Mountains in its full glory, where you will have
a guided nature walk at the foothills and have a glimpse
of the village life. Then transfer to Queen Elizabeth National
Park, with a small game drive on our way to our accommodation
in the middle of the park. Dinner and overnight at Simba
Safari Camp.
Day
7: QUEEN
ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
The day begins early as we head for the
mating ground of the Uganda kobs. We also look out for lions,
elephants and other wild animals in their natural habitat.
In the afternoon we take on a boat cruise along the Kazinga
Channel, which gives you the opportunity to enjoy some more
of the African wildlife. Dinner and overnight at Simba Safari
Camp.
Day
8: TRANFER
TO BWINDI NATIONAL PARK
Enjoy a hike in Maramagambo Forest, famous
for the Blue Lake and Bat Caves. Or go in search of the
chimpansees in Kyambura Wildlife Reserve, a beautiful gorge
completely covered with tropical rainforest (optional, not
included). In the afternoon departure to Bwindi, home of
the endangered mountain gorillas. Dinner and overnight at
Buhoma Community Bandas.

9: GORILLA
TRACKING IN BWINDI
The highlight of your primate safari: a
meeting with the gentle giants of Bwindi! Expect to walk
a long distance in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes
with rain overhead, before you encounter any gorillas. But
it will definitely be worthwhile as you observe them closely
while they eat, play and rest. A unique and unforgettable
experience! Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Community Bandas.

10: TRANFER
TO LAKE BUNYONYI
After breakfast we depart to Lake Bunyonyi,
the deepest lake in Africa. Relax, take a swim or go for
a canoe trip while you watch the beautiful sunset. Dinner
and overnight at Bunyonyi Overland Camp.
Day
11: TRANFER
TO NSHENYI VILLAGE
Departure for Mbarara where you will have
lunch before continuing to Nshenyi Village. A beautiful
route will take you to this hidden, rural farm where you
can experience the traditional way of living. Dinner and
overnight at the farm Nshenyi Village.
Day
12: NSHENYI
VILLAGE
The morning starts early as you will go
to the field to milk the long horned Ankole cows. Return
to the farm for breakfast, before we take a short walk to
the village of a Bahima tribe. In the afternoon you may
want to go for a nature walk along the River Kagera, a natural
border with Tanzania. A non-professional local group will
entertain you in the evening with traditional dancing and
singing. Dinner and overnight at the farm Nshenyi Village.

13: TRANFER
TO KAMPALA
After breakfast we depart Nshenyi. Enjoy
the magnificent views one more time as we head back to Mbarara
and continue to Kampala. On our way we will pass Lake Mburo
National Park and cross the Ugandan Equator. Overnight at
Kings Holiday Inn.
Day
14: TRANFER
TO JINJA
After breakfast we leave the busy town
and head towards the east. Jinja is situated directly at
Lake Victoria, where the Nile finds its origin. En route
we will make a stop at Mabira Forest for a nice forest walk
with the possibility of seeing different types of primates,
birds and colourful butterflies. Dinner and overnight at
Adrift Nile High Camp.
Day
15: JINJA
A full day to relax at the shores of the
Nile! You will visit the Source of the Nile, where the famous
rivier starts its journey through Africa, and make a stop
at the Bujagali Falls; spectacular waterfalls and a great
challenge for rafters! You will have the opportunity to
explore the nice centre of Jinja and the adventurous people
can decide to go rafting at the Nile or make a quad bike
safari through the local villages (optional, not included).
Dinner and overnight at Adrift Nile High Camp.
Day
16: DEPARTURE
Time to say goodbye to the Pearl of Africa!
Enjoy the beauty of the Nile one more time before we transfer
back to Entebbe. Drop off at the airport for your flight
back home.
